What This Skill Does
Manages Google Tasks from the terminal using bash scripts and the Google Tasks REST API. Supports listing all task lists, creating tasks with optional due dates and notes, and deleting tasks by position or title. OAuth authentication is handled via a token file generated during first-time setup.
Lets you read and write Google Tasks entirely from the command line without switching to a browser or the Tasks UI.
When to use it
- Checking all pending tasks across lists without opening a browser
- Adding a work task with a due date while staying in the terminal
- Removing a completed item from a specific task list by name or number
- Creating tasks with notes from a shell script or automation
- Reviewing tasks from a configured default list without specifying it each time
