What This Skill Does
Automates the cycle of checking out a GitHub PR, running a test suite, and merging when tests pass. If tests fail, it reads the output, attempts a fix, commits, pushes, and retries up to a configurable number of times.
Combines checkout, test execution, fix attempt, and merge into a single command, removing the manual loop between a failing test run and an actual merge.
When to use it
- Merging Dependabot PRs after confirming tests pass
- Batch-merging approved small bug fix PRs overnight
- Auto-retrying a PR blocked by a transient test failure
- Unblocking a merge queue without manual CI babysitting
- Hands-free merging of config-only or flag PRs during off-hours
