Setup & Installation

openclaw skills install @autogame-17/qr-generator

Or with the ClawHub CLI, for registry-managed skill folders outside a full OpenClaw workspace:

npx clawhub install qr-generator

What This Skill Does

Generates QR code images (PNG/SVG) or ASCII art in the terminal from any text or URL. Supports custom colors and dimensions. Pairs with Feishu image sending to deliver QR codes directly to contacts.

Handles both file output and terminal ASCII display in one command, without relying on an external web service or browser.

When to use it

  • Sharing a long URL with a phone without typing
  • Encoding WiFi credentials for guests to scan
  • Printing QR codes on flyers or event materials
  • Sending a QR image to a colleague via Feishu
  • Generating a quick ASCII QR in the terminal during development

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

User asks: generate a QR code for https://openclaw.ai and send it to my Feishu contact

AGENT
  1. 1Runs qr-generator with the target URL and a temporary output path to produce a PNG file
  2. 2Calls the Feishu image sender with the contact ID and the generated file path
  3. 3Deletes the temporary PNG after the send completes
OUTPUT

QR code image delivered to the Feishu contact and the local file removed
