Version History
- Added LICENSE.txt file to the repository. - Updated skill description to include AI operations, authentication, realtime, and cron jobs. - Enhanced the deploy_app tool with required model and intent parameters. - Improved get_app_status tool: added an optional 'limit' parameter for log retrieval. - Bumped skill version to 1.0.7.
What This Skill Does
Deploys web apps to AppDeploy via HTTP API using curl. Handles frontend-only and full-stack apps with backend APIs, databases, file storage, authentication, realtime, and cron jobs. On first use, auto-registers an API key and saves it locally.
AI agents can deploy and manage web apps entirely through API calls, with no GUI, CLI login, or platform-specific tooling required.
When to use it
- Publishing a React app to get a shareable public URL
- Deploying a full-stack app with a backend API and database
- Rolling back a broken deployment to a previous working version
- Checking live error logs after a deployment fails
- Updating specific files in an already-deployed app
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: Deploy my React app and give me a public URL
- 1Checks for an existing API key in .appdeploy, or registers a new one via the AppDeploy API
- 2Calls get_deploy_instructions to retrieve deployment constraints and rules
- 3Calls get_app_template with app_type and frontend_template set to react-vite
- 4Calls deploy_app with the app files and null app_id for a new deployment
- 5Calls get_app_status to confirm the build succeeded and retrieve the public URL
