What This Skill Does
Router skill for calendar management across Google Calendar, Outlook, and CalDAV. Routes requests to two sub-skills: one for datetime resolution and timezone math, one for scheduling, availability queries, and booking. Uses 18 tools across 5 layers, from contact lookup to atomic slot reservation.
Cross-provider availability merging and Two-Phase Commit booking prevent double-bookings that single-provider or manual scheduling approaches miss.
When to use it
- Finding an open time slot across Google and Outlook calendars
- Booking a meeting without creating double-booking conflicts
- Converting a meeting time from one timezone to another
- Scheduling with an external contact through their public booking page
- Expanding a recurring event rule to list all upcoming occurrences
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: Schedule a 30-minute call with Jane next Tuesday at 2pm
- 1Calls get_temporal_context to confirm the current date and local timezone
- 2Calls resolve_datetime to convert 'next Tuesday at 2pm' to an exact timestamp
- 3Calls list_calendars to discover connected calendars
- 4Calls check_availability to verify the slot has no conflicts
- 5Presents booking details to the user, then calls book_slot on confirmation
Meeting booked on the user's calendar for the resolved date and time, confirmed conflict-free
