What This Skill Does
Stores knowledge strings to Supermemory.ai's cloud and retrieves them with semantic search. Provides cross-session persistence for bug fixes, configurations, decisions, and insights using only the free tier API. An auto-capture script can scan local memory logs and push high-value entries on a cron schedule.
Unlike local MEMORY.md files, cloud-stored knowledge survives context resets and is searchable by meaning, not just keywords.
When to use it
- Saving a bug fix so it's findable in future sessions
- Looking up a setup step from a project done weeks ago
- Auto-backing up daily session insights overnight via cron
- Searching for a past decision when local memory files don't have it
- Storing user preferences that need to persist across projects
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: Do you remember how I fixed that SSL cert error last month?
- 1Runs search.py with the query 'SSL cert error fix'
- 2Receives ranked results from Supermemory.ai cloud
- 3Identifies the best match above the confidence threshold
- 4Returns the stored fix details to the user
The previously stored solution, e.g. 'Fixed: SSL cert error by running certbot renew --force-renewal'
