Setup & Installation
Or with the ClawHub CLI, for registry-managed skill folders outside a full OpenClaw workspace:
Version History
- Updated install instructions: now uses direct download from the GitHub repo for the latest `localsend-cli`. - Referenced official CLI documentation link for further help. - Clarified that `localsend-cli` is a zero-dependency Python CLI, not just a bundled script. - No changes to flows, buttons, or state logic.
What This Skill Does
Sends and receives files between devices on the local network using the LocalSend protocol. Triggered via Telegram, it presents an inline button menu for device discovery, file sending, text sending, and receiving. Works with any device running the LocalSend app on Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, or Linux.
Transfers files directly over LAN with no internet, cloud storage, or account required, and the Telegram inline button interface removes the need to remember CLI syntax.
When to use it
- Transferring photos from your phone to your laptop without a cable
- Sending a large archive from your desktop to a colleague's PC on the same WiFi
- Receiving files on a home server from any device on the local network
- Sending a text snippet from your computer to your phone
- Batch-transferring a folder of screenshots to another machine
