What This Skill Does

Takes podcast audio files or transcripts and produces chapter markers with timestamps, highlight clip suggestions, and show notes drafts. Stays strictly in analysis and drafting mode, no publishing or uploading.

Handles both raw audio and transcripts so you can start chaptering regardless of whether you've already run transcription.

When to use it

  • Adding chapter timestamps to a recorded interview
  • Pulling highlight clips from a long-form episode
  • Drafting show notes after a guest appearance
  • Formatting chapters for YouTube or podcast players
  • Summarizing episode topics for a newsletter

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

User asks: here's my transcript from episode 42, give me chapters in MM:SS format with show notes

AGENT
  1. 1Reads the transcript and identifies topic shifts
  2. 2Assigns MM:SS timestamps to each topic boundary
  3. 3Generates concise chapter titles aligned to content shifts
  4. 4Drafts highlight clip suggestions with start and end timestamps
  5. 5Produces a show notes draft summarizing key topics and any mentioned links
OUTPUT

A list of chapter markers with timestamps and titles, highlight clip timestamps, and a ready-to-edit show notes draft
