What This Skill Does
OmniCog provides a unified API for connecting to Reddit, Steam, Spotify, GitHub, Discord, and YouTube from a single client. Each service uses a consistent interface, so switching between platforms requires no changes to how you initialize or call methods. Credentials for each service are passed at client initialization.
Instead of managing separate SDKs, authentication flows, and rate limit logic for each platform, OmniCog exposes all six services through one client object with a consistent calling convention.
When to use it
- Check trending posts on a subreddit and post a Discord summary
- Look up Steam achievements for a game while playing a playlist on Spotify
- Monitor a GitHub repo for new issues and send Discord notifications
- Search YouTube for a topic and log results alongside Reddit discussion threads
- Pull a Steam friend's game library and compare it to your own
