What This Skill Does

Routes HTTP requests through a headless browser to bypass Cloudflare bot protection. Returns page HTML, cookies, and user-agent after solving JS challenges automatically. Supports sessions for multi-page scraping workflows.

Unlike rotating proxies or custom headers, FlareSolverr actually executes the Cloudflare JS challenge in a real browser, so it works against challenges that purely header-based tools cannot solve.

When to use it

  • Fetching protected documentation sites that return 403
  • Scraping price data behind Cloudflare walls
  • Accessing APIs that block automated curl requests
  • Reusing solved sessions across paginated scraping jobs
  • Downloading files hosted on Cloudflare-protected domains

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

User asks: fetch the HTML from https://example.com/protected-page which returns 403 with direct curl

AGENT
  1. 1Check FLARESOLVERR_URL env var is set and FlareSolverr health endpoint responds
  2. 2POST request.get command to FlareSolverr with the target URL
  3. 3Check response status field for 'ok' before proceeding
  4. 4Extract .solution.response from JSON to get page HTML
  5. 5Return parsed HTML content to user
OUTPUT

Full HTML of the Cloudflare-protected page, along with cf_clearance cookies and user-agent string
