What This Skill Does

Connects to PocketLens, a personal expense tracking service, to record transactions from receipt images, card statement screenshots, or verbal descriptions. Supports querying monthly spending summaries and card billing amounts by category and card issuer.

Eliminates manual data entry by extracting transaction details directly from images rather than requiring the user to type each field.

When to use it

  • Scan a restaurant receipt photo to log the expense automatically
  • Check how much was charged across all credit cards this month
  • Record a taxi fare by describing it in plain text
  • View spending broken down by category for last month
  • Confirm upcoming card payment due dates and unpaid balances

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

User shares a photo of a credit card statement

AGENT
  1. 1Analyze the image to extract merchant names, amounts, dates, and card info
  2. 2Parse the extracted data into structured transaction objects
  3. 3Submit each transaction to PocketLens via the API
  4. 4Confirm recorded transactions in a summary table with totals
OUTPUT

Table listing each transaction with merchant, amount, date, and auto-assigned category, plus total spend
