Or with the ClawHub CLI, for registry-managed skill folders outside a full OpenClaw workspace:
What This Skill Does
Deploys and manages Xian blockchain nodes using Docker-based tooling (xian-stack). Covers joining mainnet or testnet, running validator or service nodes, and monitoring sync status via CometBFT RPC endpoints.
The xian-stack Makefile abstraction reduces multi-step Docker and CometBFT configuration to single commands, avoiding manual container and process management.
When to use it
- Joining Xian mainnet as a full node
- Running a validator node with a private key
- Setting up a private Xian test network from genesis
- Monitoring block sync progress and peer connections
- Querying node state and balances via xian-py SDK
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: Set up a Xian mainnet node on my server
- 1Clone xian-stack and run `make setup CORE_BRANCH=mainnet CONTRACTING_BRANCH=mainnet`
- 2Build the Docker image with `make core-build` and start the container with `make core-up`
- 3Initialize CometBFT state with `make init`
- 4Configure the node for mainnet using `make configure` with the genesis file and seed node address
- 5Enter the container with `make core-shell`, start processes with `make up`, and verify sync with `curl -s localhost:26657/status | jq '.result.sync_info'`
Node running inside Docker container, syncing blocks from mainnet, sync_info showing catching_up: true until fully caught up
