Version History

v1.0.1Feb 2, 2026 - Version note by skill developer:

No changes detected in this version.

What This Skill Does

Manages a SansFiction reading library through its API. Adds books, updates reading status, logs pages or minutes read, and can schedule a daily check-in that asks how much you read and logs the answer automatically.

Combines library management and habit tracking in one place, so you don't have to open SansFiction manually to log progress or update statuses.

When to use it

  • Adding a book to your library by title or ISBN
  • Marking a finished book as complete
  • Logging pages read after a reading session
  • Checking which books are currently in progress
  • Enabling a nightly reminder to log reading progress

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

User asks: log that I read 40 pages of Project Hail Mary, now at page 210

AGENT
  1. 1Discovers available tools via tools/list on the SansFiction MCP endpoint
  2. 2Searches the user's active library to resolve the book
  3. 3Calls the log progress tool with pages read: 40 and current page: 210
  4. 4Confirms the recorded entry with book title, pages logged, and current page
OUTPUT

Logged 40 pages for Project Hail Mary. Current page: 210.
