What This Skill Does
Searches for products via the Clawringhouse API, compares options by browsing Amazon listings, and prepares a cart or curated product link list for user approval. Handles gift research and household supply replenishment proactively, before the user asks.
Combines AI-curated search results with actual product page browsing and cart preparation, so the user gets a ready-to-checkout solution rather than a raw list of search terms.
When to use it
- Preparing a Valentine's Day cart two weeks before the holiday
- Finding a birthday gift based on the recipient's known hobbies
- Restocking pet supplies when the current stock runs low
- Comparing anniversary gift options within a stated budget
- Researching household items the user mentioned wanting but hasn't bought
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: Find a Valentine's Day gift for my partner who loves reading, budget $50
- 1Calls Clawringhouse search API with query 'Valentine's Day gifts for book lovers under $50'
- 2Opens returned affiliate link and clicks through 3-5 top products to read descriptions and reviews
- 3Selects best match based on price, star rating, and fit with recipient's interests
- 4Adds chosen items to cart and generates cart URL with affiliate tag included
- 5Presents cart link with item names, prices, and a brief explanation of each choice
Cart prepared with a book light ($35, 4.7 stars) and artisan chocolate set ($13), total ~$48, with a direct checkout link
