What This Skill Does

Connects to a self-hosted Mealie instance via its REST API. Handles recipes, meal plans, and shopping lists through a bundled Bash helper script. Requires a running Mealie server and an API token from its settings.

Automates Mealie interactions from chat or scripts without opening the web UI.

When to use it

  • Add a new recipe from a JSON file
  • Retrieve a saved recipe by ID
  • Create a weekly meal plan
  • Fetch the shopping list for a meal plan
  • Search recipes by name from the command line
