What This Skill Does
Monitors product prices across Amazon, Zalando, eBay, AliExpress, and Google Shopping using Apify scrapers. Supports cross-platform comparison, price history tracking, and threshold-based alerts. Data can be exported to CSV or fed into repricing pipelines.
Running parallel scrapes across multiple platforms and normalizing the output into a single schema removes the manual work of visiting each retailer and reconciling different price formats.
When to use it
- Alert when a competitor drops below your price on Amazon
- Compare headphone prices across Amazon, eBay, and Google Shopping
- Track Zalando fashion discounts during sale seasons
- Schedule daily price checks for a product catalog
- Export normalized price data to a repricing tool like Prisync
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: Compare prices for Sony WH-1000XM5 across Amazon, eBay, and Google Shopping
- 1Selects the appropriate Apify actors for each platform
- 2Runs all three scrapers in parallel using Promise.all
- 3Collects and merges results, tagging each item with its source platform
- 4Normalizes prices to USD and sorts by current price ascending
- 5Returns a ranked comparison table with source, price, and availability
Structured list showing cheapest to most expensive option across all three platforms, with direct URLs
