What This Skill Does

Extracts public posts, profiles, hashtags, and comments from Instagram, TikTok, and Reddit using the Apify platform. Returns structured JSON with engagement metrics ready for analysis or export. Supports parallel multi-platform queries for unified trend reporting.

No platform API keys are needed since Apify handles all access, removing the approval process required for official Instagram and TikTok APIs.

When to use it

  • Tracking which hashtags are gaining traction on TikTok this week
  • Monitoring competitor Instagram accounts for posting patterns
  • Pulling top Reddit threads in a niche before launching a product
  • Aggregating cross-platform engagement data for a weekly trends report
  • Finding top creators by engagement rate in a specific content category

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

  2. 2Runs instagram-hashtag-scraper, tiktok-hashtag-scraper, and reddit-search-scraper in parallel via Apify
  3. 3Collects results with engagement metrics from each platform dataset
  4. 4Sorts and ranks posts by engagement rate across platforms
  5. 5Identifies recurring hashtags, peak posting times, and top creators
OUTPUT
