What This Skill Does

Camoufox is a Firefox-based browser automation tool built for sites that block standard bots. It spoofs OS and browser fingerprints, simulates humanized mouse movements, and maintains persistent sessions across runs.

Standard Playwright/Chrome headless is trivially detected on bot-hardened sites; Camoufox uses Firefox with fingerprint spoofing and human-like input to avoid that detection layer.

When to use it

  • Scraping X/Twitter without getting blocked
  • Automating Naver searches and logins
  • Running bots on sites that fingerprint Chrome headless
  • Maintaining logged-in sessions across automation runs
  • Solving CAPTCHAs once via VNC and reusing the session

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

User asks: scrape my Naver account dashboard daily

AGENT
  1. 1Activates the camoufox virtualenv
  2. 2Runs login_session.py against the Naver login URL to establish a session via VNC CAPTCHA solve
  3. 3Saves the authenticated session to the persistent profile directory
  4. 4Writes a browse.py-based script that loads the dashboard URL using the stored profile
  5. 5Schedules the script to run with xvfb-run to capture a screenshot each day
OUTPUT

Daily screenshot of the Naver dashboard saved to disk without triggering bot detection
