Setup & Installation
Or with the ClawHub CLI, for registry-managed skill folders outside a full OpenClaw workspace:
What This Skill Does
Connects to a Jenkins CI/CD server via REST API to manage jobs, builds, and nodes. Supports triggering builds with parameters, streaming console output, stopping builds, and inspecting the queue. Credentials and server URL are configured via environment variables to support multiple Jenkins instances.
Lets the agent interact with Jenkins directly from a conversation without opening the Jenkins UI or writing one-off curl commands.
When to use it
- Trigger a deployment build with a specific branch and environment
- Check whether a nightly build passed or failed
- Stream console logs from a running build to diagnose failures
- Stop a stuck build that is blocking the pipeline
- List all nodes to see which agents are online
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: trigger a build of 'deploy-api' on the main branch targeting production
- 1Reads JENKINS_URL, JENKINS_USER, and JENKINS_API_TOKEN from environment
- 2Runs build command with --job 'deploy-api' and --params '{"BRANCH":"main","ENV":"prod"}'
- 3Polls status command until build completes
- 4Fetches console output with --last flag to confirm result
Build #47 of deploy-api completed successfully; console tail shows deployment finished
