What This Skill Does
Generates formatted Excel attendance sheets from employee work data. Accepts employee names, date ranges, and attendance status codes, then outputs a color-coded .xlsx file with summary statistics.
Skips manual Excel formatting by producing a ready-to-share .xlsx file with color coding and totals in one step.
When to use it
- Creating a monthly HR attendance report for 50 employees
- Converting raw daily check-in logs into a formatted spreadsheet
- Tracking late arrivals and absences across a team for a pay period
- Preparing attendance documentation for a performance review
- Generating a one-day attendance record for a small team

- 2Maps attendance status codes to the supported types (normal, late, absent, leave, overtime)
- 3Runs generate_attendance.py with the structured input data
