What This Skill Does
Connects an AI agent to German personal online banking using the FinTS standard via the fints-agent-cli tool. Credentials are stored in the system keychain. Transfers require explicit user confirmation before execution.
Stores credentials in the system keychain rather than plain-text config, and enforces a mandatory dry-run plus explicit confirmation phrase before any real transfer executes.
When to use it
- Check balances across multiple German bank accounts
- Retrieve and filter recent transactions by IBAN or date range
- Initiate a bank transfer with dry-run preview before sending
- Onboard a new German bank account via interactive setup
- Look up whether a specific German bank is supported by provider code
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: Transfer €120 to IBAN DE44500105175407324931 for 'invoice 2024-11'
- 1Run fints-agent-cli accounts to confirm the source IBAN
- 2Run transfer --dry-run with all fields and present parsed details: from_iban, to_iban, to_name, amount, reason
- 3Wait for user to type the exact phrase APPROVE TRANSFER
- 4Execute the real transfer command without --dry-run
- 5Report the final transfer status and any bank response lines
Transfer confirmed with status 'Success' and bank response code
