What This Skill Does
Repairs authentication failures on a remote system called Billy, an EC2 instance accessible via Tailscale. Authorized for use by Neill only. Clears stale tokens, restarts the gateway, and verifies the repair with a full audit log.
Automates a multi-step SSH repair sequence, including config backup, token removal, and gateway restart, instead of requiring manual file edits on the remote host.
When to use it
- Billy shows authentication errors and needs remote repair
- Billy's gateway becomes unresponsive after token expiration
- Clearing stale device tokens from Billy's configuration
- Restarting Billy's auth gateway after a failed session
- Getting a timestamped audit log of every action taken during repair
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: 'Billy is showing authentication errors again, please fix him'
- 1Verify Neill's authorization before proceeding
- 2SSH into Billy via Tailscale using the repair key
- 3Back up Billy's current configuration to a timestamped file
- 4Clear stale authentication tokens and remove any hardcoded tokens
- 5Restart Billy's gateway and test authentication to confirm success
Billy's authentication is restored and a repair log is written to the output directory
