What This Skill Does
Generates French legal documents for freelancers and micro-entrepreneurs: general terms of sale (CGV), legal notices, service contracts, and quotes. All documents are output as HTML with inline CSS, pre-filled with French legal clauses required by law. Reads provider info from a shared config file if available.
Uses only Python 3 stdlib with no external dependencies, so it runs anywhere without a virtual environment or package installation.
When to use it
- Generating CGV before sending a first invoice to a new client
- Creating legal notices when launching a freelance website
- Drafting a service contract for a fixed-price project
- Producing a quoted estimate with line items and payment terms
- Listing all generated documents to audit what's on file
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: generate a service contract for client Acme Corp, web app mission, 5000€, 3 months
- 1Reads provider details from ~/.freelance/config.json
- 2Runs python3 legal.py generate contrat --client "Acme Corp" --mission "Développement application web" --montant 5000 --duree "3 mois"
- 3Fills in mandatory French legal clauses: 30/70 payment split, IP transfer on full payment, confidentiality, optional non-solicitation
- 4Writes contrat-acme-{timestamp}.html to ~/.freelance/legal/
- 5Opens the document in the browser for review
