What This Skill Does
Sends and receives emails through the Resend API. Handles inbound email polling via cron, threaded replies with correct Gmail headers, and attachment downloads. Manages a custody chain to track email-to-reply lineage.
Automatically sets In-Reply-To and References headers when replying, which keeps replies in the correct Gmail thread rather than starting a new one.
When to use it
- Check for new emails every 15 minutes and get notified in chat
- Send a report with PDF attachments to a client
- Reply to a customer email and keep it in the same Gmail thread
- Download files attached to an inbound email
- Set up automated email monitoring that runs while you're away
