Or with the ClawHub CLI, for registry-managed skill folders outside a full OpenClaw workspace:

What This Skill Does

Connects to the Powerdrill API to manage datasets, upload files, run natural-language queries, and retrieve charts and tables as output. Uses a Python client script that wraps the Powerdrill REST API v2. Supports full analysis sessions with conversational follow-up.

Natural-language querying removes the need to write SQL or Python data analysis code for exploratory data tasks.

When to use it

  • Uploading a CSV and asking questions about sales trends
  • Finding top-performing products across quarterly data
  • Visualizing regional breakdowns from uploaded spreadsheets
  • Resuming a previous analysis session to ask follow-up questions
  • Cleaning up datasets and sessions after a one-off analysis

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

User asks: Analyze my sales.csv file and show the top 5 products by revenue

  2. 2Upload sales.csv using upload_and_create_data_source()
  3. 3Wait for sync with wait_for_dataset_sync()
