What This Skill Does
Tracks daily commitments, streaks, and habits to build consistent behavior over time. Uses habit stacking to attach new behaviors to existing routines, with daily check-ins and weekly pattern reviews. All data stays local on your machine.
Anchoring new behaviors to existing routines and compounding them through streak tracking removes reliance on willpower, which degrades under stress.
When to use it
- Tracking a 30-day sleep schedule without missing a night
- Stacking a 5-minute meditation onto an existing morning coffee routine
- Reviewing which commitments broke during a high-stress work week
- Setting deep focus blocks and getting reminded when each window opens
- Identifying which habit pillar is undermining the others through weekly data
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: I want to build a morning exercise habit and track it
- 1Prompts user to define the commitment with specifics (e.g., '30 min walk, 5x/week')
- 2Identifies an existing anchor for habit stacking (e.g., 'after morning coffee')
- 3Stores the commitment and sets the streak counter to day 1
- 4Schedules a daily check-in prompt to log whether the habit was completed
- 5On weekly review, shows streak data and suggests micro-adjustments if adherence dropped
