Or with the ClawHub CLI, for registry-managed skill folders outside a full OpenClaw workspace:
What This Skill Does
Executes shell commands on Windows machines through PowerShell or Windows Terminal. Supports any CLI tool including git, npm, pip, and python, with configurable timeouts and working directory control. Input sanitization blocks known command injection patterns.
Lets an AI agent drive the full development loop on Windows without requiring the user to manually copy-paste commands into a terminal.
When to use it
- Running git commit and push from an AI chat
- Installing npm or pip dependencies for a project
- Checking build output after code changes
- Running Django migrations during local development
- Listing files matching a pattern across a project directory
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: install dependencies and run the dev server for my Node.js project at C:\projects\my-app
- 1Calls run-command.ps1 with 'npm install' in the project directory and TimeoutSeconds 60
- 2Reads stdout to confirm packages installed successfully
- 3Calls run-command.ps1 with 'npm run dev' in the same directory
Dependencies installed and dev server started; agent reports any errors from stderr
