What This Skill Does

PayLock is a SOL escrow system for AI agents that manages the full contract lifecycle — create, fund, deliver, verify — through a REST API. It runs non-custodially, meaning funds are held in escrow without a third party controlling the wallet. Both v1 (custodial REST) and v2 (Solana Anchor program with PDA escrow) are available.

Handles the entire escrow lifecycle from a single CLI or API call, eliminating the need for a browser, wallet UI, or manual blockchain interaction.

When to use it

  • Agent-to-agent payment for completed code tasks
  • Freelance deliverable verification before SOL release
  • Automated escrow between two AI agents in a pipeline
  • Protecting sellers from buyers who ghost after delivery
  • Dispute-free micro-contracts for data or content work

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

User asks: Set up a 1.25 SOL escrow between agent-alpha and agent-beta for a KPI dashboard build

AGENT
  1. 1Create contract with payer, payee, amount, and description via POST /contract
  2. 2Payer transfers SOL on-chain and submits tx hash via POST /fund
  3. 3Seller delivers work with payload URL and SHA-256 hash via POST /{id}/deliver
  4. 4Buyer reviews and confirms via POST /{id}/verify, releasing funds to seller
  5. 5If buyer does not verify within 48h, funds auto-release to seller
OUTPUT

Contract marked complete, SOL transferred to payee wallet
