What This Skill Does

Connects AI agents to Korean public holiday data and business day calculations via the HuDy MCP server. Supports querying holidays, counting business days between dates, adding or subtracting business days, and managing custom company holidays.

Uses official Korean government holiday data (data.go.kr) and handles custom holidays automatically in all calculations, removing the need to maintain a separate holiday calendar.

When to use it

  • Counting business days remaining in a contract deadline
  • Checking if a specific Korean date is a workday
  • Scheduling a payment 10 business days after invoice date
  • Registering a company founding anniversary as a custom holiday
  • Querying all public holidays in a given quarter

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

User asks: How many business days are there in March 2026?

AGENT
  1. 1Calls count_business_days with start_date 2026-03-01 and end_date 2026-03-31
  2. 2HuDy API checks the date range against Korean public holidays and weekends
  3. 3Returns the count of qualifying business days
OUTPUT

March 2026 has 21 business days (excluding weekends and the March 1st Independence Movement Day holiday).
