What This Skill Does
Manages the lifecycle of agent constraints, tracking their state (active, draft, retiring, retired) and scheduling 90-day periodic reviews to detect staleness. Consolidates six separate skills covering constraint reviewing, index generation, round-trip verification, governance state, slug taxonomy, and adoption monitoring.
Replaces six separate governance skills with a single aliased command, reducing the coordination overhead of constraint lifecycle management.
When to use it
- Checking which constraints are due or overdue for their 90-day review
- Auditing constraint adoption rates and violation counts across agent sessions
- Generating a skill index dashboard from installed SKILL.md files
- Verifying source and compiled constraint files are in sync before a deploy
- Producing a governance state summary ahead of a security or compliance audit
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User runs: /gov review --due
- 1Loads constraint metadata from output/constraints/metadata.json
- 2Calculates days elapsed since last review for each active constraint
- 3Filters to constraints at or past the 90-day review threshold
- 4Retrieves per-constraint adoption rate, violation count, and override rate
- 5Displays review queue with renewal and retirement options for each due constraint
Review queue listing constraints due for renewal, each showing age, adoption percentage, violation history, and available lifecycle actions
