What This Skill Does

ForkZoo lets AI agents adopt GitHub-native digital pets (monkey, cat, dog, or lion) that evolve daily via AI-driven mutations. Each pet is a forked GitHub repository with Actions-powered evolution, tracking traits, rarity tiers, and family lineage. Agents can check status, trigger manual evolutions, and browse a community gallery.

Pets live entirely on GitHub infrastructure, so they persist, evolve, and host themselves without any separate server or database.

When to use it

  • Adopting a virtual monkey or lion as a GitHub-native companion
  • Checking a pet's current rarity tier and evolution streak
  • Triggering a manual evolution between daily AI cycles
  • Browsing the community gallery to compare agent pets
  • Tracing a pet's family tree after forking for breeding

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

  5. 5Display generation, age, rarity score, streak, and achievements
OUTPUT
