Version History

v2.1.0Jan 25, 2026 - Version note by skill developer:

Enhanced Figma design analysis and export tools with comprehensive documentation

What This Skill Does

Read-only integration with the Figma REST API for design file analysis and asset export. Extracts components, styles, and design tokens, exports assets in PNG, SVG, PDF, and WEBP, and runs accessibility and consistency audits. Cannot modify files or create new designs.

Automates batch export and audit tasks that would otherwise require manual clicks in Figma or custom one-off API scripts.

When to use it

  • Exporting all icons from a design system as SVG and PNG
  • Auditing a UI file for WCAG AA color contrast compliance
  • Generating CSS custom properties from Figma color and typography styles
  • Packaging mobile assets at 1x, 2x, and 3x scales for iOS and Android handoff
  • Identifying unused components and style inconsistencies across a component library

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

User asks: Check this Figma file for WCAG AA accessibility issues and generate a report

AGENT
  1. 1Authenticates with the Figma REST API using the configured access token
  2. 2Fetches the full file structure including components, frames, and styles
  3. 3Runs accessibility_checker.py against the file, checking contrast ratios, font sizes, and touch target dimensions
  4. 4Compiles findings into an HTML report with element-level violations and recommendations
OUTPUT

HTML accessibility report listing WCAG AA failures, affected elements, and suggested fixes
