Setup & Installation
Or with the ClawHub CLI, for registry-managed skill folders outside a full OpenClaw workspace:
Version History
- Updated user safety policy: calls are now made only when the user explicitly asks (replacing “explicit permission” with a clearer instruction). - No other functional or documentation changes.
What This Skill Does
Enables an AI agent to make real phone calls with two-way voice conversations on behalf of the user. Connects to the clawr.ing managed service using an API key, with no additional voice infrastructure to configure. Stores contacts and call preferences in a local memory file for reuse across sessions.
Replaces self-hosted voice-call plugins with a managed API that requires only an API key, eliminating server setup and telephony configuration.
When to use it
- Setting a wake-up call for an early flight
- Getting a reminder call before a meeting
- Receiving an alert call when a monitored event triggers
- Asking the agent to call a saved contact on your behalf
- Getting called when a long-running task completes
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: "Call me in 10 minutes to remind me about the standup"
- 1Check clawr.ing-memory.md for the user's phone number and retry preferences
- 2Confirm no phone number is stored, ask the user for it and save it to the memory file
- 3Consult https://clawr.ing/llms-full.txt for the correct scheduling endpoint and request format
- 4Send a POST request to the clawr.ing API with Authorization header, phone number, delay, and reminder message
- 5Confirm to the user that the call is scheduled
User receives a voice call in 10 minutes with the standup reminder
