Setup & Installation

openclaw skills install @mfaiz-007/unitask-task-agent

Or with the ClawHub CLI, for registry-managed skill folders outside a full OpenClaw workspace:

npx clawhub install unitask-task-agent

What This Skill Does

Lets an AI agent manage tasks and time blocks in Unitask using scoped API tokens. Supports listing, creating, updating, and deleting tasks, including subtasks. Works via the hosted MCP endpoint at unitask.app with no local server required.

The scoped token model means agents only get the permissions the action requires, reducing risk compared to full account access.

When to use it

  • List all open tasks and pick what to work on next
  • Create tasks from a conversation without opening the app
  • Mark completed tasks done in bulk
  • Time-block a workday between 9am and 5pm
  • Add subtasks under an existing project task

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

User asks: 'Plan my day from 9am to 5pm and show me the schedule before applying it'

AGENT
  1. 1Call list_tasks with status=todo to fetch pending tasks
  2. 2Call plan_day_timeblocks with apply=false and the 9am-5pm window to generate a preview
  3. 3Present the proposed time block schedule to the user
  4. 4On user confirmation, call plan_day_timeblocks again with apply=true
OUTPUT

Time blocks are written to Unitask and the confirmed schedule is shown to the user
