What This Skill Does
Ingests multi-source JSON intelligence dumps, performs cross-verification, deduplication, and conflict analysis against the previous cycle's briefing, then produces bilingual English and Arabic geopolitical briefings as PDFs. Targets high-context models to process entire intel collections in a single pass.
Single-pass processing of entire intel dumps in a large-context model reduces hallucination risk compared to chunked summarization pipelines.
When to use it
- Compiling a morning briefing from overnight news source dumps
- Deduplicating updates already covered in the previous cycle's report
- Resolving conflicting casualty figures or attribution across sources
- Generating Arabic and English PDF briefings for email distribution
- Tracking 12-18 hour windows of Middle East conflict developments
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: Generate today's intelligence briefing from /Volumes/Intel/news/2026-02-13_0500
- 1Reads MANIFEST.json to validate file completeness and loads all .json content files
- 2Applies temporal filter to retain only events within the 12-18 hour operational window
- 3Reads the most recent briefing from /Volumes/Intel/NewsBriefs/ and deduplicates already-reported stories
- 4Synthesizes a narrative briefing with entity extraction, timeline reconstruction, and conflict resolution, then runs a self-critique pass to replace vague language
- 5Compiles .tex files using xelatex and dispatches English and Arabic PDFs via himalaya
Two PDF briefings (English and Arabic) emailed to configured recipients with subject '[Date] Daily Intelligence Briefing (Mike)'
