What This Skill Does

Personal X (Twitter) analytics agent for monitoring your account's posts, mentions, engagement, and follower changes. Reads tweets and threads by URL or ID, manages bookmarks, and generates combined daily briefings. Tracks API spend against a configurable daily budget to avoid unexpected costs.

Combining timeline, mentions, and profile into a single cached briefing command avoids redundant API calls that would cost 3x as much when running each script separately.

When to use it

  • Morning briefing of overnight X engagement
  • Checking if a specific tweet gained traction
  • Reading a thread someone linked you
  • Tracking follower count changes over the week
  • Accountability check on how much time you're spending on X

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

User asks: how did my posts do this week?

AGENT
  1. 1Run x_timeline.py top --days 7 to pull top posts from local store at no cost
  2. 2Display engagement metrics for each post
  3. 3If user asks about a specific post, run x_timeline.py refresh TWEET_ID for updated metrics
  4. 4Check today's spend total from command output before making additional calls
OUTPUT

Ranked list of top posts from the past 7 days with like, retweet, and reply counts, plus current spend total
