What This Skill Does
Meeting Notes Pro structures meeting work across six workflows: summarizing transcripts, tracking action items, building agendas, running 1:1s, logging decisions, and scoring meeting effectiveness. It enforces ownership and deadlines on every action item and flags meetings that could be emails instead.
Combines agenda creation, note summarization, action tracking, and decision logging in one place rather than maintaining separate documents or tools for each.
When to use it
- Turning a raw transcript into a structured summary with owners and deadlines
- Building a timeboxed agenda before a weekly team sync
- Generating follow-up emails for overdue action items
- Documenting a product decision with alternatives and revisit criteria
- Running a quarterly performance check-in with a structured discussion framework
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: Here are my notes from today's sprint planning meeting — can you summarize them?
- 1Identifies meeting goal, attendees, date, and facilitator from the notes
- 2Extracts all decisions with owners and effective dates
- 3Pulls every action item and flags any missing owners or deadlines
- 4Separates unresolved topics into Open Questions and off-topic items into Parking Lot
- 5Calculates and appends a Meeting Effectiveness Score out of 10
Formatted meeting summary with decisions table, action item tracker, open questions, parking lot, and a scored effectiveness rating with one-line rationale
