What This Skill Does
TenK Connect links your TenK account (tenk.oventlabs.com) to your AI assistant. You can log practice sessions, check skill progress, and view stats toward the 10,000-hour mastery goal directly from chat.
Logging practice and checking progress without leaving your chat workflow removes the friction of switching to a separate app or browser tab.
When to use it
- Log 30 minutes of piano practice after a session
- Check how many hours you have accumulated on a specific skill
- See your current streak for daily coding practice
- Ask your assistant for a full breakdown of all tracked skills
- Review total progress percentage toward 10,000 hours
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: 'Log 45 minutes of guitar, I worked on fingerpicking'
- 1Run tenk.sh whoami to confirm authentication is active
- 2Run tenk.sh skills to retrieve the list and find a fuzzy match for 'guitar'
- 3Run tenk.sh log guitar 45 'worked on fingerpicking' with the matched skill name
- 4Return the confirmation result from the API to the user
Session logged: 45 minutes added to Guitar. Total accumulated: 312 hours.
