What This Skill Does

Connects to XPR Network's on-chain governance system via the gov contract. Supports reading communities, proposals, and votes, as well as casting votes and creating proposals with fee payment. Works across six communities including XPR Network, Metal DAO, and LOAN Protocol.

Handles the multi-step proposal creation flow (content ID, fee transfer, postprop action) in a single tool call instead of requiring manual contract interaction.

When to use it

  • Checking active proposals before a community vote deadline
  • Voting yes or no on an XPR Grants funding proposal
  • Looking up vote totals and participation on a closed proposal
  • Creating a new proposal for Metal DAO governance
  • Reviewing which accounts voted and how on a ranked-choice proposal

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

AGENT

  2. 2Retrieve proposal IDs and metadata from the response
  3. 3Call gov_get_proposal for each active proposal to fetch title, description, and current vote totals
  4. 4Return a summary of open proposals with candidate options and participation so far
