What This Skill Does
Posts to X (Twitter) through the OpenTweet REST API. Create tweets, schedule posts, publish threads with per-tweet media, run analytics on engagement and follower growth, and manage content in bulk. Supports communities, retweets, quote tweets, and auto first-comments.
When to use it
- Publishing a tweet immediately or scheduling it for later
- Creating multi-tweet threads with images on specific tweets
- Checking follower growth and engagement metrics over time
- Batch-scheduling a week of content in one API call
- Finding the best posting times based on historical analytics
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: "Post a tweet saying 'Just shipped v2.0!' right now"
- 1Calls GET /api/v1/me to verify auth and check posting limits
- 2Creates the post with publish_now: true via POST /api/v1/posts
- 3Parses the response for the real X post URL
