What This Skill Does
Ambient coaching system that scores communication behavior across dimensions including clarity, persuasion, presence, and boundary setting. Analyzes submitted text, emails, and transcripts, then delivers structured feedback in a fixed format: dimension, score, issue, and one concrete fix. Progress persists across sessions and drives progressive challenges up to leadership-level communication.
Calibrates scores against modality-specific baselines so feedback accounts for the different expectations of a Slack message versus a formal email rather than applying a single generic standard.
When to use it
- Reviewing an email draft before sending to a client
- Getting scored feedback on a recorded presentation transcript
- Running weekly practice scenarios targeting a weak dimension
- Tracking clarity scores across Slack messages over several weeks
- Preparing for a high-pressure negotiation or difficult conversation
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: Here's a draft email to my manager requesting a deadline extension. How does it read?
- 1Load current state including level, points, and active dimension scores
- 2Run analyze_comm.py on the email text with email-formal modality
- 3Compare dimension scores against established baseline for that modality
- 4Identify the weakest dimension and one specific observed pattern
- 5Deliver feedback card with score, issue, and one concrete fix, then update state
Feedback card: Persuasion 5/10 — request states the problem but gives no reason the manager should agree. Fix: add one sentence explaining the impact of the extension on delivery quality.
