What This Skill Does
Parses a job description, maps candidate experience against required keywords, and generates a tailored resume and cover letter. Output includes Markdown, print-ready HTML, a keyword match report, and optionally LaTeX source. Works interactively if no profile is provided upfront.
It handles the full pipeline from keyword gap analysis to multi-format output in one step, replacing manual job description comparisons and word processor reformatting.
When to use it
- Tailoring a resume to a specific job posting
- Generating a cover letter for a career change application
- Identifying keyword gaps before submitting to an ATS
- Converting a rough work history into a structured, formatted resume
- Producing print-ready HTML resume from existing experience notes
