Version History
March 2026: updated platform limits, new API docs, Threads nesting warning
What This Skill Does
Publora's Threads skill publishes or schedules posts to Threads via the Publora API. Supports text, images, videos, and carousels up to platform limits. Thread nesting (multi-post chains) is temporarily unavailable due to a platform reconnection issue.
Publora abstracts Meta OAuth, S3 media uploads, and scheduling so you don't interact with the Threads API directly.
When to use it
- Scheduling a Threads post to go live at a specific time
- Publishing image or video content to Threads from an automation
- Cross-posting short-form content to Threads alongside other platforms
- Queuing promotional posts for a product launch
- Posting carousel content to a Threads account programmatically
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: Schedule a post about our new feature to Threads for tomorrow at 10am
- 1Retrieve the user's Threads account ID from their Publora workspace
- 2Draft post content under 500 characters
- 3Call create-post with platforms set to threads-{accountId} and scheduledTime to tomorrow 10:00 UTC
- 4Return the postGroupId from the API response as confirmation
Post scheduled for 2026-03-20T10:00:00.000Z, postGroupId confirmed
