What This Skill Does
Automates BambooHR HR operations through the Rube MCP server, which uses Composio's BambooHR toolkit. Covers employee lookups, time-off requests and approvals, profile updates, dependents, and benefit coverages.
Rube MCP handles BambooHR authentication and exposes all HR operations as callable tools without writing custom API integration code.
When to use it
- Submit a PTO request for an employee without logging into BambooHR
- Detect employee record changes since the last sync for an external system
- Look up an employee's department and job title by name
- Check available vacation balance before scheduling team time off
- Update an employee's job title and department after a role change
