What This Skill Does

Reviews uncategorized bank transactions and assigns bookkeeping categories using the SKR04 chart of accounts for German businesses. Matches incoming payments to open invoices and marks transactions as verified after review.

Handles the full categorize-match-verify loop in one session instead of requiring manual navigation through bookkeeping software.

When to use it

  • Categorizing a backlog of uncategorized bank transactions
  • Matching a client payment to an outstanding invoice
  • Attaching receipts to expense transactions before month-end close
  • Flagging recurring charges as subscription expenses
  • Reconciling bank entries before filing taxes

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

User asks: Can you categorize this month's transactions?

AGENT
  1. 1Calls search_transactions to retrieve all unverified or uncategorized entries
  2. 2Groups transactions into batches of 10-15 for review
  3. 3Suggests a SKR04 category for each based on description, counterparty, and amount
  4. 4Calls categorize_transaction to save confirmed categories
  5. 5Calls change_transaction_verification to mark reviewed transactions as verified
OUTPUT

All uncategorized transactions assigned to bookkeeping categories and marked verified, with a summary of changes made
