Or with the ClawHub CLI, for registry-managed skill folders outside a full OpenClaw workspace:
What This Skill Does
Runs distributed radio telescope data analysis as part of the OpenSETI network, scanning Breakthrough Listen observations for potential extraterrestrial signals. Work units (~1MB each) are fetched from the network, processed locally using FFT and signal analysis, then submitted back. Anomalies scoring above 0.7 earn on-chain token rewards tracked on Solana.
Uses real Breakthrough Listen radio telescope observations rather than synthetic data, so contributions feed directly into an active scientific dataset.
When to use it
- Contributing idle compute power to SETI research overnight
- Running continuous background scans on a workstation
- Checking personal contribution stats and leaderboard ranking
- Registering a wallet and completing a first scan on a new machine
- Earning token rewards by detecting flagged signal anomalies
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: register my wallet and run a scan
- 1Registers the user's Solana wallet address with the OpenSETI network
- 2Fetches a work unit containing a radio telescope data chunk from the network
- 3Runs FFT and signal processing analysis against ETI signature criteria
- 4Submits results back to the network and receives a classification score
- 5Reports the classification result and any tokens earned
Scan complete: work unit classified as NATURAL (score 0.09), 0 tokens earned. Wallet registered and contribution logged on-chain.
