What This Skill Does

Manage Wrike tasks, projects, folders, and comments through a CLI that wraps the Wrike REST API. Commands cover the full CRUD lifecycle for work items and return structured JSON. Supports dry-run mode and auto-detects US/EU data centers.

Lets agents and scripts interact with Wrike without a browser, enabling automation of task management that the Wrike UI requires manual steps for.

When to use it

  • Creating tasks with assignees and due dates from a terminal
  • Querying active tasks in a project filtered by assignee or importance
  • Moving folders between parent containers to reorganize work
  • Adding or updating comments on tasks from scripts
  • Resolving a Wrike permalink URL to full task details in automations

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

User asks: Create a high-priority task for Jane in the Q2 Marketing project, due April 1

AGENT
  1. 1Run `claw-wrike folder list` to find the Q2 Marketing project ID
  2. 2Run `claw-wrike contact list` to confirm Jane's display name
  3. 3Run `claw-wrike task create --folder <id> --title "Q2 deliverable" --assignee "Jane" --due 2026-04-01 --importance High --dry-run` to preview
  4. 4Run the same command without `--dry-run` to create the task
  5. 5Run `claw-wrike task get --id <newId>` to confirm task details
OUTPUT

Task created with alphanumeric ID, assigned to Jane, due April 1, importance High
