What This Skill Does

Echoes user input back with a prefix of either 'Echo:' or 'You said:'. Preserves the original case, punctuation, and spacing exactly. Designed for testing skill routing and message passing.

When to use it

  • Verifying skill routing after a new setup
  • Confirming message content passes through unchanged
  • Checking that case and punctuation are preserved
  • Testing prefix output format during development
  • Debugging message delivery in a new agent environment

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

User asks: "Hello world"

AGENT
  1. 1Receives the raw user input
  2. 2Selects an appropriate prefix based on context
  3. 3Prepends the prefix to the unmodified input
  4. 4Returns the result to the user
OUTPUT

Echo: Hello world
