npx clawhub install git-pushing

What This Skill Does

Stages all changes, creates a conventional commit message, and pushes to the remote branch in one step. A script handles staging, message formatting with a Claude footer, and push with upstream tracking.

Enforces conventional commit format automatically so you don't have to remember the syntax or manually stage, message, and push as separate steps.

When to use it

  • Committing finished feature work at end of a dev session
  • Pushing a quick bug fix to a shared branch
  • Saving work before switching to a different task
  • Submitting changes with a properly formatted conventional commit
  • Pushing code after completing a code review round

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

  2. 2Stages all modified files
  3. 3Generates a conventional commit message based on the changes
  4. 4Appends Claude footer to the commit
  5. 5Pushes to remote with -u flag for upstream tracking
OUTPUT
