What This Skill Does

Audits an iOS app repository for App Store compliance and release readiness. Works with native Swift/Obj-C projects, React Native (bare), and Expo (managed or prebuild). Outputs a PASS/WARN/FAIL verdict with per-check evidence and a publish checklist.

Covers native iOS, React Native, and Expo in one automated pass instead of manually cross-referencing Apple guidelines for each project type.

When to use it

  • Verifying bundle ID, version, and build number before TestFlight upload
  • Finding a missing PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy manifest in a React Native project
  • Confirming a 1024×1024 App Store icon is present before submission
  • Checking Info.plist permission usage strings are set for camera and location access
  • Scanning committed files for obvious secrets before a production release

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

User asks: Is my Expo app ready to submit to the App Store?

AGENT
  1. 1Detect project flavour by checking package.json for expo and presence of app.json
  2. 2Run audit.mjs with --repo flag to perform static compliance checks
  3. 3Verify bundle ID, version, build number, and app icon dimensions
  4. 4Check for PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy, permission usage strings, and ATS configuration
  5. 5Produce a PASS/WARN/FAIL report with per-check evidence and a publish checklist
OUTPUT

Readiness report showing overall verdict, Go/No-Go recommendation, and a checklist of remaining administrative steps before submission
